How Winds of Morocco is funded

Winds of Morocco is free to read. To pay for research, writing and hosting, we participate in affiliate programs run by travel companies. When you click an affiliate link and complete a booking or purchase on the partner's website, the partner may pay us a commission. The price you pay is the same as if you had gone to the partner directly.

What this means in practice

• We do not process bookings or payments. Your contract is with the partner you book with, under their terms.
• Affiliate links are labeled near where they appear and are marked for search engines with rel="sponsored".
• We only link to partners whose affiliate programs are approved and active.
• Commissions do not influence which neighborhoods, activities or transport options we recommend.
• We never publish invented ratings, reviews, prices or testimonials.

Types of partners

Depending on availability, partners may include accommodation platforms, tour and activity marketplaces, car rental and transfer comparison sites, flight and ferry search engines, travel insurance providers, eSIM providers and financial services for travelers. A partner appears on the site only once its program is approved.

Click measurement

Affiliate links pass through a short redirect on our domain so we can count clicks by page and position. We do not store your IP address or other personal data in this log. Partners may set their own cookies once you arrive on their website, according to their privacy policies.
