Riads

Hotels
Easier vehicle access, pools and larger rooms, usually in the newer districts such as Gueliz and Hivernage in Marrakech.
Villas
Private space for families and groups, typically on the edge of a city, such as Marrakech's Palmeraie, or along the coast.
Apartments
Practical for longer stays, remote work and self-catering, especially in Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier and Agadir.

Getting around
Moving between cities
Morocco has a high-speed rail line, a national train network and reliable intercity coaches. The right choice depends on your route.
- Trains
- ONCF runs the network, including the Al Boraq high-speed line between Tangier, Rabat and Casablanca.
- Coaches
- CTM and Supratours connect places the railway does not reach, such as Essaouira, Agadir and Chefchaouen.
- Car rental
- Most useful for the Atlas, the south and road trips. Not needed inside the big cities.
- Transfers & drivers
- Private transfers save time on arrival and on routes with several stops.
